ABOUT US

Founded in 1972, Rockland GAA is an inclusive Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Orangeburg, New York serving the communities within Rockland County and surrounding areas.

 

The Club offers sport in Gaelic football, Ladies (Gaelic) football, hurling and camogie for both juvenile and adult players.  We have teams ranging from U7 to adult.

 

Our mission is to promote the development and playing of Gaelic games in our community. We strive to encourage the participation of all sectors of our community in our sporting, cultural and social activities by creating an environment of sportsmanship, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.

With over 850 playing members, Rockland GAA is the largest GAA club located outside of Ireland and is made up almost entirely of American-born players.

 

Our playing fields and clubhouse are located at 160 Old Orangeburg Road, Orangeburg, NY 10962.
