On Sunday, June 18th, Rockland GAA hosted a concert featuring Nathan Carter, The Narrowbacks, and Perfect Strangers. It was an incredible day for our Club and there are so many people to thank for making it happen. First, thank you to Nathan Carter and his band for putting on a fantastic show for the 1,200+ people in attendance – you’re all welcome back to Rockland GAA anytime. Also, thanks to Perfect Strangers and The Narrowbacks for entertaining the early crowd. Thank you to all of the volunteers, including everyone who organized parking, scanned tickets at the gate, or sold raffle tickets. Thank you to the Orangetown Auxillary Police and South Orangetown Ambulance Corps, we appreciate everything you do for us. Thanks to Niall O’Gara for taking some great pictures during the event. Next, thank you to the Concert Committee for putting in so much work over the last few months to make this entire day possible. Finally, thank you to our Event Coordinator Ann Nally and her staff for making the day a huge success.
